MISSION STATEMENT

 The family of St. William’s Catholic Primary School holds ‘Christ at our heart’, where everyone speaks politely shows love, respect justice & kindness, and these are lived out by all, to provide a loving, respectful and safe school.

We celebrate and welcome all people, remembering we are special in the eyes of God. We know Jesus and share the Word of God with everyone, by our thoughts, words and actions.

Working together with parents and those around us, we show a love of learning that is fun and exciting. We know that learning can be hard sometimes, but we keep going and never give up, so that we are strong and have a happy life.

Our Vision

At St William's, our vision is to create a nurturing family where every child receives more than just an education. We provide engaging and exciting experiences, where pupils feel secure, supported and valued. The adult’s behaviour in school empowers our pupils to be responsible individuals, making the right choices and positively impacting on the community and the world around them. Pupils grow into strong leaders who contribute meaningfully to society.

Adults at St William's are committed to inspiring a love of learning and fostering a sense of purpose in our pupils. We work together to eliminate barriers to success, so that all pupils have resilience to overcome challenges and can secure new skills, knowledge and understanding. The whole development of each child: the spiritual, emotional, physical, artistic and academic growth is at the heart of all we do in school.

Our school is a place where everyone speaks respectfully to one another, in both tone and word. We respect our environment, which everyone keeps tidy, even if they didn’t create the mess. Our respect for each other means that lessons and meetings start on time and are focused and efficient.

We support our children to move forward with confidence, equipped with the skills, values and virtues they need to pursue their dreams. St William's staff proudly guide the children on their educational and life journey, helping them to shape their own futures and the further growth of our diverse community.
