School Meals

St. William's has its own catering team that cooks and serves hot dinners every day. We have a large, well-equipped kitchen that serves a range of hot and cold meals that are prepared on site using fresh ingredients wherever possible.

We offer vegetarian and halal options every day as well as a choice of hot main courses. The menu choices are chosen by the School Council who work with kitchen staff to design a menu that continues to be appealing to children and staff.

Cost of school dinner £2.20 per day, £11.00 for week.

We are now using ParentPay for a convenient way to make school meal payments - ParentPay

Please pay using ParentPay to reduce the amount of cash in school.  If this is not possible please pay on a Monday morning for the week.

You can also check the allergen information for each item and select filters to remove any allergens and then discuss the options with your child so they are ready to order their dinner at the start of each school day.

If you would like any help accessing the menus please contact the office and we will be happy to help.

Universal Infant Free School Lunch

From September 2014 all pupils in Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 in state-funded schools in England are eligible for free school meals.

You will still need to submit an application clicking on the plate below. This will guarantee that your child’s school receives all of the funding they are entitled to.

If your child currently receives free school meals. Bradford Council will write to you in the summer with further details. If your child is due to start Reception in September you will receive further information from the school.

Packed Lunches

Children may bring a packed lunch if preferred. Please remember not to send a glass container, cans, fizzy drinks or sweets.

We encourage children to eat healthy meals and snacks.

Please also provide your own spoon for yogurts and desserts.
Midday Supervisors are on hand throughout the lunchtime period to help with serving and aiding children in the dining hall.
